Exhibition on 105 years of organized combat erosion and 85 years since the beginning of the implementation of Forest Week was opened by the Governor Mr. Ivo Petrov. Thematic exhibition was shown in Rome - Pernik and includes photos, trophies, instruments.

 It is a joint initiative with the State Forestry - Radomir magazine "Forest". The motto of the festival this year is "Forest tomorrow - our care today.

 The aim of this initiative is the days of the Forest Week to days of widespread promotion of the great importance of forests and public involvement in the fight to protect and improve forest condition.

Foresters regional governor congratulated with their feast, and wished them good health and much more professional success. He said it is currently developing a new law that will protect not only forests but also biodiversity. It establishes a strong independent forestry inspectorate will have greater powers to combat the illegal extraction of wood and other disorders.
