Regional Administration Pernik
Yesterday the governor Mr. Ivo Petrov adopted in his office Belgian delegation led by Mr. Jean - Paul Wall, Mayor of Zhodon and Francophone Parliamentarians in Europe. With him were Vice - mayors and representatives of Belgian business. The meeting was attended and Vice - Governor George Sharlachki and Radoslav Yordanov. Guests from Belgium visited the company Rekoul AD Pernik, at the invitation of the Belgian representative, Mr Philip Uotle.
Mr. Ivo Petrov noted their Belgian visitors with the history of our city and our native traditions. Jean-Paul Wall and the governor agreed to sign the agreement on friendship and cooperation. They also discussed opportunities for economic partnership.
Mayor Zhodon took part in the Bulgarian MPs speaking with the Belgian ambassador. Together with the mayor of Belogradchik Emil Tsankov discussed twinning of both towns. Mayor in Bulgaria and to support the Belgian economic interests and economic development of Bulgaria in the EU. Jean-Paul Wall thanked for the warm welcome and stylish gift renew the regional governor. Guests from Belgium went away from our town with a plaque of Pernik.
